Northwest Citizen: A Community Commitment
Northwest Citizen: A Community Commitment
This is a request for donations to help maintain NW Citizen.
In a time of media consolidation and elimination, having a thriving local source like Northwest Citizen is more critical than ever. Northwest Citizen is a community commitment we have maintained, and you have trusted, for over 30 years.
Northwest Citizen provides a media platform for local citizens to publicize local issues that, oftentimes, you won't hear about anywhere else. Whether it is an expose about proposed developments on Chuckanut Bay, or a historical look at the missteps of WWU planning, or the inside scoop on Port shenanigans, we keep you apprised of local issues from a boots-on-the-ground perspective. Anyone can submit an article for consideration. Not a writer? We’ll even help you get your article right. Speak out here!
Thanks to the generous community support we received a year ago, we were able to have our web manager, TKWeb, implement significant improvements to our infrastructure. But web sites need constant maintenance, upgrades, and tweaks, and “significant improvements” occasionally cause unintended consequences. The long and short of it is, we hope you are willing to help us keep Northwest Citizen running with a donation by clicking the 'Donate' tab at the top of this page.
As always, every cent goes to the costs of the website. Neither owners nor writers take a dime.
Your support is deeply appreciated by all of us here at Northwest Citizen. Thank you!
