One wants his or her representative on City Council to be accessible, knowledgeable about and involved with local issues, honest, fair, and law abiding. Michael is all of those things.

Since he first entered politics Michael has always answered my calls and listened to what I have to say. He answers my questions even when I don't like the answers. If he doesn't know he finds out and lets me know. Once he came to a meeting in the 100 acre wood between Park Department leaders and neighbors who were impacted by trail revisions so he could understand the issue and offer to help resolve it.

The one issue he wouldn't talk with me about is the 38 acre development proposal on the Chuckanut Creek Estuary (Mud Bay Cliffs). I ask him Why the Planning Dept. was not requiring an Environmental Impact Study on the development that will almost certainly degrade the estuary. I was going to ask him to advocate for the EIS, but Michael said for legal reasons he can't even talk about it. I don't like that answer but it is evidence he is strictly legal.

We can't ask for a better representative on council. Vote for Michael Lilliquest.
