This man deserves a medal of “Honor”, for that is what he possesses, Honor.  You will notice that the police are nonplussed.  The irony is too much and the police finally walk away.  One might assume that they did not want a confrontation with this former Marine and the bad press thus engendered.  One might also think that they are now aware, however dimly, that they are also the 99%, as are the firemen, the teachers, the social workers and the sanitation workers.  They may soon acknowledge that they have become the Praetorian guard of the banksters against whom these citizens are protesting and are, themselves, enabling the continuation of a system that no longer serves them.  The police would do well to recall the words of the theologian, Martin Niem?ller, who, in his belated opposition to Adolph Hitler, said:

  and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a communist.
  Then they came for the trade unionists,
  and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a trade unionist.
  Then they came for the Jews,
  and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a Jew.

  and there was no one left to speak out for me.

You will know that this nascent revolution will have succeeded on the day that A police department, ANY police department, in the US refuses to act against these demonstrators and picks up their signs in a show of solidarity that will signal the beginning of the end of the unimaginable greed of the banksters and the politicians who enable them.  Semper Fidelis, Sergeant Thomas.
