Thanks for this effort. I think more math and modeling has to be done. Obviously precip can't fall solely as rain in the $ Cascades. The governor is touting the 31M Mt. Vernon effort as a model of victory. He's not asking what would have happened if the rain would have added another one foot of flood height.

Similarly, no one is asking what would have happened if the Nooksack added another foot of flood height (one more consecuitive AR?)  Obviously, we would have lost the Ferndale bridge at I-5.

These aren't 100 year floods anymore. Those numbers are meaningless. The next one two years from now will be stronger...
