I was born in 1944 in a small town in the Midwest. I came to Washington State to attend graduate school at the University of Washington. There in 1969, I joined protests against the Vietnam war and found my purpose. When Bush and Cheney decided to invade Iraq, I joined the Western Washington Fellowship of Reconciliation. I am a retired machinist and programmer who worked 20 years at Boeing. My wife and I moved to Bellingham in 2020.
