According to the Political Junkie website, Jason Overstreet has decided to not run for reelection as state representative from the 42nd district.  Overstreet, as an elected representative, has tended to not speak with the press.  So Riley did some additional checking to confirm he is actually not running.  Herald has nothing as of this post. We also learn today that our county prosecutor, Dave McEachran, will run for reelection.  There were rumors he would retire after 40 years.  As usual, there will  probably be no opponent.
