A telling point was made last evening at the annual Business Person of the Year awards banquet sponsored by the Northwest Business Monthly.

MC Bill Quehrn asked that any Bellingham city council members stand up. None were in attendance. Then - would any of the three announced mayoral candidates stand up. None in attendance. Over 400 business persons did attend.
