Have added a new link to the right column this morning - under Coal, Oil & Trains: Coal Stop.  This site was started as a result of Whatcom Watch rejecting and distancing itself from local writer Sandy Robson.  Her article in the January 2014 issue was the excuse for Craig Cole to threaten the Watch with a libel lawsuit.  The Watch organization proceeded into a 9 month melt down which only ended with the election of a new board in late September.  We wish them the best going forward. 

During those months, Sandy had several articles - including the rejected article - posted here on NWCitizen.  Late in the summer, her friend Deena Jensen started Coal Stop and now Sandy posts there.  It can be a bit confusing navigating and knowing which article you are reading - but I expect that will improve as the site matures.  This site is a valuable addition to our local information sources.
