How are we suppose to know what is erroneous information about the health care bill? So far there are multiple bills, most of them longer than anyone can read and understand. Many Democrat leaders, including the President, have made statements that seem contrary to what is being stated as the goals now. Are we suppose to believe the past statements, or the present statements? Most of the stated goals, although admirable, are not achievable based on what is being presented as the bill (assuming anyone understands what is in the bill). So which one are we suppose to believe: the stated goals, or what is in the bill? You keep talking about the right wing attack machine trying to scare people into not wanting reform, how are their tactics different from those of the President and leaders of Congress who continue to state we will be in an economic crisis if we do not pass something. Isn't that a scare tactic? You criticize the approach many opponents are taking on health care, but aren't those the same tactics used to oppose the war? If it was patriotic to oppose the war, why is it now un-American to oppose the health care bill?

Frankly, we are looking for honest leadership, not gamesmanship or political hatchet jobs. I am no supporter of Pres. Bush and agree with much of the criticism that was leveled against him. However, all I am seeing today is the same tired politics and tactics of the last eight years. Same politics, different party, same result. We all hoped for change, but hope is fading fast.
