Trivia - and hard to get right - is when we mark exactly 100 years since the Titanic struck the iceberg.  Accounting for the ship clock being set 2 hours and 2 minutes ahead of New York time, and given we are now on daylight savings time, and it struck at 11:40 p.m. April 14, 1912 ship's time, that makes it 5:38 p.m. this evening for us in Bellingham.

Just seems a moment to remember the sometimes folly of men when they think they can act with impunity and not use common sense.
