Guest Writer Articles

We welcome guest articles from local readers as a way to bring public attention to local issues. We do not accept submissions from organized advocacy groups. We prefer articles on local topics, but all articles will be considered. If you want, you can query us by email with your article concept before submitting it. Email to: editor@nwcitizen.com

Guidelines for submitting a guest article: 

1. Article should be under 1,000 words.

2. Article should be submitted as a Word or Pages document, or as an email.

3. A photo or graphic can be submitted. Please make sure you have permission to use it. 

     –  Send photo or graphic in .jpg format as an email attachment. 

4. Include a brief - one or two sentence - statement about yourself and where you live locally.

We may edit your article but you will have the final edit and approval.
