SOPA - Stop Online Piracy Act - proposed legislation in the US House of Representatives
PIPA - Protect IP Act - proposed in the US Senate and pretty much the same
These two bills, will change very dramatically how the Internet will operate. Those who understand the Internet feel this change will lead to the destruction of many of our freedoms.
Many websites - led by Wikipedia - will go dark for Wednesday. I will be posting an article on NWCitizen explaining why we all should be against this legislation.
